You’re not alone as the popularity of Twitter; a micro-blogging service founded in 2006 has grown in leaps and bounds and resulted in requests to new age developers to have websites in sync with Twitter.

Well, with Drupal you can do that and much more. Drupal is getting bigger and better everyday adapting quickly to the needs of today and if you’re not on Drupal you are surely minus the many exciting functionalities that it can empower your website with.

Twitter module available in Drupal provides API integration with Twitter and allows a user to link their Twitter a/c with their Drupal website. A block gets added which displays your most recent tweets in a sidebar block format or on a users profile.

Here’s how you can kick-start your Twitter a/c integration with your Drupal website:

  1. Download Twitter Module
  2. Upload it to the directory: /sites/all/modules/
  3. Enable it in the Drupal admin section.
  4. Click my account (navigation menu) and then edit tab.
  5. Enter your Twitter username and password

And you’re done.  Drupal never disappoints. You now have a Twitter compatible Drupal website in a jiffy
